TibiaQA.com is proudly announcing the Golden Contribution - Winter Update 2024 contest. The goal of this contest is to promote and reward interesting, well-researched questions and answers posted on TibiaQA.

How to participate?

• Explore and get familiar with the content added and changed with the Winter Update 2024
• Ask and answer questions related to the Winter Update 2024
• Post a link to your questions and/or answers on this topic (max 3 questions & 3 answers per user)

Contest rules

• Users participate by asking and answering questions on TibiaQA
• Questions and answers must concern things added or modified with the Winter Update 2024
  • Users may also submit answers to questions posted in the past if they believe that the Winter Update 2024 had a significant impact on it
• Each user can submit up to 3 questions and up to 3 answers to the contest, by posting their links on this topic (deadline 29. December 2024, 23:59 CET).
• Each user may win one prize in the "Top questions" category and one prize in the "Top answers" category.
• All posted content must follow TibiaQA guidelines - posts that fail to do so will either be closed or removed and will not participate in the contest
• The TibiaQA.com team cannot participate in the contest

1.    Omniscient Owl + badge of glory + Golden Trophy of Excellence + Rune emblem of choice + 40 reputation points on TibiaQA
2. Silver Trophy of Excellence + Rune emblem of choice + 20 reputation points on TibiaQA
3. Bronze Trophy of Excellence + Rune emblem of choice + 10 reputation points on TibiaQA

Top answers - prizes

1.    Omniscient Owl + hero's medal + Golden Warrior Trophy + Rune emblem of choice + 40 reputation points on TibiaQA
2. Silver Warrior Trophy + Rune emblem of choice + 20 reputation points on TibiaQA
3. Bronze Warrior Trophy + Rune emblem of choice + 10 reputation points on TibiaQA

Picking the top contributions procedure

• The top 6 questions and top 6 answers will be pre-selected by the TibiaQA.com team and forwarded to the CMs and fansite admins
• The selection will be based on
  • The quality of the question (as per How to ask a good question?)
  • The quality of the answer (as per How to provide good answers?)
  • How useful the question might be to the readers in the future
• The CMs and fansite admins will vote for their favorite questions and answers from the top 6
• The winning questions and answers are announced and the winners are contacted (around 6. January 2025)
