Winter Lottery 2025 (with Omniscient Owl!)

Hello TibiaQA users!

We are happy to announce the seventh edition of our Winter Lottery event! Every active user of TibiaQA participates!

Event rules

• The event runs from 1. December 2025 00:01 CET, until 28. December 2025 23:59 CET
• All TibiaQA registered users with confirmed e-mail addresses participate in the event
• All users who wrote at least 5 valid posts (questions or answers) on TibiaQA during the mentioned period will be automatically enrolled in the lottery (activity on meta.tibiaqa.com is not tracked and not considered)
• Content that goes against the Help Center guide and content that brings absolutely no value (eg. "nice question", "me too") can be removed without notice and will not be counted
• All users who qualified for the lottery will be announced on 31. December 2025 at the latest, together with the link to the lottery hosted on tibiopedia.pl/tools/lottery
• The lottery will be scheduled to draw on 1. January 2026 at 20:00 CET
• Winners will be available on tibiopedia.pl/tools/lottery  in the provided link and will also be announced on TibiaQA.com
• You may own only one TibiaQA account. We reserve the right to disqualify all users who attempt to cheat or engage in any form of cheating.

The top 4 places in the lottery will receive the following prizes:

2. Omniscient Owl
3. Rune emblem of choice + Santa Doll
4. Rune emblem of choice

Hi! Do I have to choose between answering 5 questions/asking 5 questions or can it be both? For example: answer 3 and ask 2. And the answers need to be in new questions or can I answer the old ones that no one answered?

It can be both, the 5 is for ANSWER + QUESTIONS. And yes old questions works too.

@The.menera- what trulu said is correct (thank you trulu) it can be both. For example: 3 answers or 2 questions. As long as its a total of 5. Also it can be old or new questions. @Keiras- Please also ask all questions on TibiaQa.com not meta as they dont count for the contest. I noticed you asked multiple questions on meta but I had to hide them.

I mean, honey, that I asked a question about getting the achievement after changing the hunting task, and it was closed. In my opinion, it wasn't a duplicate, and I'm a bit surprised by the decision, but I understand that it doesn't count then??

The question remains the same: "how to get x achievement" the way to get the achievement changed which means the answer changed. An appropriate solution would be for the answer on the original question to be edited or the updated answer added to the original question. Asking the same question twice is considered a duplicate even if the answer becomes outdated. Ellotris confirmed that if a question is closed it doesn't count. If a question is hidden it also doesnt count. There's plenty of questions and answers to look into. You just need at least 5.
