I have some months taking daily care of the moderation page, checking the post and rejecting the spam. Do you have an internal guide or something like that explain what can be done and how? By eg. whats the job needed for flags or tags... What need be considered, what the proper manner etc....

In other hand there's a way to put who was the user who make the action on the moderation activity page?

https://www.tibiaqa.com/moderation-activity

By eg. its show who reject the post.

PD: I was thinking on deleted/edit all that tags that are useless (With single use or so), so I'm not fully sure how to approach it.

Hey thank you for your help! I follow help center when it comes to moderation and use judgement with tags. I agree tags should be revisited I know we discussed it a little here: https://meta.tibiaqa.com/1649/when-to-create-a-new-tag?show=1649#q1649

Hi trulu! Thanks for your help. I agree with most of your edits but I would be careful on removing every tag. For example, badges and abdendriel are valid tags. I will be reverting some questions to make some tags reappear. You've done great and appreciate the improvements. If any questions on any tag please post here but if you see me reverting something back to include a tag dont revert it again. Or if you dont agree with me please post the tag here and we can look into it.

Hello Trululu Gumdrops,

Thank you for your questions. At TibiaQA, we aim to be completely open and transparent, and invite other users like you to help us moderate the content on the site. For this reason, we don't have any additional internal guidelines. We expect site moderators and the community to rely on both the Help Center and the Meta TibiaQA to make the best decisions. If you feel some areas aren't explained well enough, let us know - we will see if we can improve those guides.

The ability to see who moderated a post at the Moderation Center is available only to moderators. Is there a reason you think this information would be helpful?

Mass moderating the tags is possible, but we don't plan on opening that possibility to all users, to avoid a mess. I admit we also don't have precise guidelines for tagging. Nevertheless, some obvious cases require moderation, like typos or duplicates (e.g. singular and plural versions of the same thing). Mass changes to tags can be requested via Meta TibiaQA - just make a post, provide a reasoning, and if we agree, we will apply the changes. We might even award some bonus reputation points on TibiaQA where appropriate, to recognize helpful contributions.

Hope this helps!

Thaks for your reply, I think add a small part for the tags as you did with by eg How to ask a good question? can be really usefull. There is 15 pages of tags and a lot have only a single use or just 2-3 that can be converted in something more general, like the name of Cyclops or Amazon that can be changue to creatures or Plater Armor that can be replaced to equipment, items or armor.I think that can give more order in general to a group the questions.

For the Moderation Center its probably something more like curiosity, as I can see it because Im not mod.

I dont want overlap the news questions with the old ones edited with new tags, so maybe just need edit one page of tags per day or something to give the new one their space and visualisation.

By the way, tag WEAPON or WEAPONS? (I mean its better in singular?)

Thanks! I'll see if we can come up with some specific, even simple guidelines for tags. For new tags, we prefer singular forms. I know that we have some existing, popular tags in plural though, eg. tibia-rules, skills, fansites

Could be pretty sweet to have a more formal environment to answer and make questions. Reviving this sort of forums with a more professional view is crucial, specially to the new players generation
