The Best Event-related Question - contest

Question

TibiaQA.com is proudly announcing the Best event-related question contest. The goal of this contest is to promote and reward high quality, well-researched and interesting questions posted on TibiaQA that will help us build the base for a new, upcoming TibiaQA feature.

Contest rules:

• The contest runs from 06. November 00:01 CET, until 30. November 23:59 CET
• All questions by registered users, who confirmed their e-mail address will automatically take part in the contest
• Users participate by asking questions on TibiaQA
• The questions must relate to one of the Tibian events and be appropriately tagged; the tags are: new-year, winterlight-solstice, tibia-anniversary, full-moon, the-first-dragon, valentines-day, last-creep-standing, piece-of-cake, orcsoberfest, colours-of-magic, spring-into-life, demons-lullaby, bewitched, rise-of-devovorga, annual-autumn-vintage, halloween, lightbearer, christmas, rapid-respawn, xp-skill-event, carnival, double-daily-reward, chyllfroest, prank-month, flower-month, hot-cuisine for each of the events respectively
• Opinion based questions do NOT participate in the contest (they will be identified with an appropriate tag)
• All posted content must follow TibiaQA guidelines - questions that fail to do so will either be closed or removed and will not participate in the contest
• The TibiaQA.com team cannot participate in the contest

Picking top questions procedure:

• Top 6 questions will be selected by the TibiaQA.com team and forwarded to the CMs and fansite admins (1. December)
• The number of votes and views on questions will impact the selection, but it will not be the ultimate and final indicator
• The CMs and fansite admins will vote for their favorite posts from the top 6 (until 6. December)
• The winning questions are announced based on the received votes from the CMs and fansite admins (until 7. December)

Rewards:

1. Golden warrior trophy + Disgusting trophy + Badge of glory + Rune emblem of choice + 50 rep points on TibiaQA
2. Silver warrior trophy + Elven trophy + Rune emblem of choice + 20 rep points on TibiaQA
3. Bronze warrior trophy + Rune emblem of choice + 10 rep points on TibiaQA

Yes, the tags you are supposed to use are in the contest rules.

Old question related to these events could be retagged to participate in the contest?

Only questions posted in the time range given in the contest rules will participate. Also, everyone can add new tags, so if one of those tags doesn't exist yet, you can easily create a new one.

Can the one question relate to ALL or few events, or it have to relate to one particular event?

They need to be about one, specific event, or up to 5 specific events (becasue that's the max number of tags you can assign per question)

The questions will need to be approved to be on this new contest? (like up votes or something)

They don't need to be approved - they just must meet the requirements from the contest rules (user must be registered and the e-mail confirmed, the question must be properly tagged, it cannot be opinion-based and it must follow the TibiaQA guidelines)

Can you ask as many questions as you want?

Yes - there's no limit. Speaking from experience though, it's better to ask a few really good, well-researched, and interesting questions, rather than posting everything that comes to mind :)

Double Loot Event can be a possibility? Because it happened once in the past. Who knows, maybe Cipsoft may do that again one day...

Late to the party but was wondering if the question needs to be event specific.  I asked a question that was more about something happening across Events
