There are no random numbers in my answer. Calculations are quite clear. My goal was to suggest a road map to upgrade set and boots using an objective argument - the value the boots bring to the table according to how much of each effect it amplifies. Hopefully this will be useful to people who want to tier up their set (like myself). :)

And thanks to the tibiaqa team for appreciating my answer.

I skipped reading the usual drivel against Tibia QA a month ago, but I feel that I must reinforce certain things if anyone slanders TibiaQA in the future (again) regarding contests. There isn't anything inherently wrong with the 2nd place at all. What kind of "corruption" @Andarer is seeing is beyond me. Maybe in his imagination we (staff) were bribed or something. I wonder what he means by that. Several people were voted in an internal process by TibiaQA staff. What else do you believe that happens?

The 2nd place created a new text regarding an image that was correctly cited and is originally from a fansite written in spanish. There is no problem with that at all, being the said question a very popular one too. We get a lot of access from people searching for these locations every March/October, so it is a reasonable and fair answer to be voted. The image upgraded the answer section and brought more exactly location with routes. No problem here.

@Zupakode Initially, I suggested to @Ellotris (Tibia QA admin) a special section dedicated to honourable mentions and people who did not qualify OR couldn't make to the top (I. E. the guy who posted about Tibia Token did not qualify due to technical reasons, but he was on my top 3 before I noticed that he could not qualify for prizes). No one is boycotting you dude, I can assure that. You are also being considered in the process like everyone else.

The fact that you attacked @oezatat shows a lot about you. Sorry to be so direct to you since I personally never had any particular issue with you before. The data that @oezetat brought is enough to make conclusions and these are realistic numbers for people willing to invest that heavy in Tibia, since tier items are for people that have no fear in sinking money into gaming. There is even a road map there and it is an easy conclusion to figure out: "You got real life money floating around? Use in tier boots and get some extra %s according to each step in my road map, and I show you how much you gain with it."

The fact that you can't accept a defeat is quite depressing. You even said something against Bitencourt but fortunately edited your comment before I could read it.

@FPoPP the contest reaches a point where it's beyond TibiaQA's control and it gets voted by other fansite admins, and unsurprisingly, the same thing that's happened in countless contests before happens again: a friend of a group of fansite admins that hoard multiple fansites gets voted as a clear outlier when compared with the quality of the rest of the answers. That's where fansite contests become a cesspool of corruption. If anything, it should be commended that the winner was so good that it was able to overcome that hurdle and become the winner nonetheless. It wasn't the only one tho, there were a couple of answers of superior quality (superior overall, but again, nothing as good as the winner) that aren't even in the top, and there's no transparency as to which ones were sent to the final voting - that's "ugly", but not corruption per se.

It has nothing to do with being a sore loser, I didn't expect to win. Heck, I knew in my "main" answer that I would certainly not pass the CMs-fansite admins phase by adding a quirky remark about vocation balance that lowered the quality of the answer overall.

@FPoPP Im not saying I should have won or something like that, on this contest and on the last one there was other entries that were so much better, and many people think like me, and Im not saying because of random criteria , Im saying following the criteria that you write on each contest that will be take in mind to select the best entries. And that criteria is being ignore many times cause sometimes even a simple copy paste from other website without upvotes and without more than 100 hundred views and have won a prize... On this case how do you justify that?  cause full copy paste is 0 effort, 0 researching and doesnt even got views, but you guys selected those anwyays as the best entries...

And is not about I win or not I dont care , I love doing contest on TibiaQa, as you know Im one of the oldest members of tibiaQA and I have been in so many contest on this fansite and also I gave many views with my questions and answers to the website, is just about being fair with the results, if you set a criteria in the contest rules apply those on the entries you will select, cause when we see on some contests in a row that people with 0 effort wins prizes is frustrating cause there is no justification behind that.

And I dont attacked @oezatat , I have been playing tibia for so many years and I know how tiers work and the answer that he gave it doesnt make any sense , on any high level you ask to read that answer he wont even understand it, and your justification is ""You got real life money floating around? , and this is a good entry? the one that maybe answers in a very specific case for rich people on real life.

Anyway, I am sorry for my manners if they offended anyone, it was not my intention, I just found the entries selected very unfair and it is not the first or the second time that I see an abysmal difference in the quality of the questions chosen as winners.

I know how to get lost, but it annoys me to see that someone with a copy paste from another website in 10 seconds with no visits or upvotes gets a prize and others with a lot of effort and research behind with more visits and more upvotes are not even in the top 3.
