TibiaQA has a solid foundation for leveraging the knowledge of players willing to contribute to the creation of a forum-like information center. However, I believe it suffers somewhat from a lack of activity on the site. Despite hosting several events throughout the year and offering a points system as a reward, after a certain amount of time, users stop visiting it, and it does not have enough promotion (especially considering the player base) to rely solely on new recurring users. That said, I would like to suggest a few ideas on how to incentivize players to take advantage of the site and visit it more often:
1 - Content of the month, highlighting the most popular questions/answers of that month, possibly offering a small reward to those who meet the criteria.
2 - YouTube highlights. I know this idea was probably ruled out due to the effort involved, but watching tibivideo (a Tibia content creator who explains Tibia to Spanish speakers), I think most of the content can be translated into an English version SHORT/Reel. Not all content, and preferably simple questions.
3 - Partners and contests: There are precedents of other fansites managing to improve their activity hosting events and things where people participated by answering questions, perhaps a similar event where a weekly question is posted and organized on another “more popular site” or directly on a social network (such as a post on Instagram/Facebook/X) for people to earn points and claim rewards.
The main idea is to take advantage of the visibility that Tibia has on social media and elsewhere to attract as many visitors as possible, followed by an improvement or change in the reward system or the way content is displayed for greater retention, mainly because although the fansite is designed to maintain as much neutrality as possible, it is normal and healthy for users to want to debate ideas or posts, either to understand them or to refute them, and this is not possible within the website but could be on other networks.
